Welcome (belatedly) to 2009

I hope this year will be a good one. But in the meantime, I realized I forgot to post a picture I made for my friend's baby, which was born just a few days ago!

Also, I completely lied when I said I would never, ever knit lace again. At least this was more bearable than the lace that I knitted for that Brooke's Column of Leaves scarf...

I hope that Tameka will be able to enjoy this sweater when little Xavier gets big enough to wear it...
